Ingredients
 

  • 16 oz elbow noodles
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Boil noodles in large pot
  • Melt butter and combine with flour. Add milk and stir.
  • Microwave for 4 minutes and stir. Do this three times. The sauce will be thick, if not continue to microwave and stir in two two-minute intervals.
  • Slowly portion cheese into white sauce while stirring.
  • Pour noodles into greased 9×13 pan.
  • Slowly pour cheese sauce into pan of noodles. Make sure cheese sauce is evenly distributed.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown (looks like pizza) on top.
